Your treatment sessions with me will be held in a calm and safe environment and may include more than one therapy, depending on your needs and preferences. Whilst some treatments require me to understand the problem, other treatments can be done without me needing to know what is troubling you.
I can also work remotely with clients, using Skype and telephone sessions, depending on the issues.
My name is Tessa Simpson and I qualified as a complementary therapist in 1998. I work with individuals who are experiencing personal difficulties, to help them overcome their problems and to make positive changes to their lives using talk therapies.
The nature of problems I encountered varies and could include: depression; anxiety; the need to manage harmful emotions and behaviours, or difficulties with coping with traumatic experience and events. I work with people wanting to leave abusive relationships and coercive control and release traumas from their past.
I use a unique technique for breaking the emotional connection to negative, harmful or inhibiting relationships using visualisation and Reiki. I have been successful in facilitate life changing experiences for many clients. With this technique I don’t need to know the details of the relationships you want to release, which can help some clients feel more relaxed, as they may not want to disclose any specifics relating to their situation.
The session is conducted in a comfortable safe environment where you would be helped to feel relaxed. The session is a led visualisation – if you are unable to visualise we can use other descriptors to facilitate the session, through feelings and touch or word description.
Hypnotherapy means the use of suggestion to help you with a problem, by giving suggestions to the unconscious mind while you are in a more relaxed state than usual. In this relaxed “can’t be bothered state”, the mind is more receptive to suggestion, especially the unconscious mind which is more available. The feeling of hypnosis is lovely – just like the feeling you experience first thing in the morning before you get up and out of bed, that “I’ll-do-it-in-a-minute” feeling, where you are alert and awake, but resting. You are always in control and can open your eyes at any time.
There are at least four levels of meaning of the past-life regression experience. At the most superficial it is fun and interesting to explore your past, to see yourself as the various characters in earlier dramas.
The second level is the therapeutic experience. Many emotional problems and conflicts are quickly and effectively solved through past-life regression therapy, and usually takes fewer sessions than conventional therapy.
The third level is an educational journey into the spiritual reality, the inner planes of consciousness.
The fourth level of the altered-state regression experience is the immense feeling of oneness, of being connected to all and everything in the universe.
Pioneered by Michael Newton from work with thousands of clients, these sessions can give answers to deeper questions we may have surrounding soul or life purpose.
Having studied with Michael Newton, in Chicago in in 2007 I have seen first -hand how effective these techniques are. For many people the questions such as ‘why am I here?’ ‘why do I have such a difficult relationship with members of my family?’ can be answered.
Using deep hypnosis techniques. I would always recommend that this session is undertaken after successfully experiencing a Past Life regression session.
Reiki(Pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese word, meaning Universal life Energy. In Reiki Therapy this energy is gently channelled through the therapist’s hand, enabling you to relax deeply and facilitate healing wherever it is required. It is a simple yet powerful, non-intrusive stress reduction and relaxation technique. It is said that 1 hour of Reiki is the equivalent to 3 to 4 hours sleep. I also use Reiki healing to help release fears, pain or negative emotions which are held in parts of your body.
Used in conjunction with other therapies to help with emotional healing. Colour has an impact on our life, emotions and feelings of empowerment. I use colour in visualisation; changing colours to help change the state of a work or home environment; suggest the colours of food which help mood and healing, and the colours of clothing to make you feel more positive or influence in work situations.
Life coaching takes you on a journey of self-discovery that will transform the way you live your life. Covering every aspect of your life, it’s an exploration into previously untapped resources deep inside you that will enable you move forward or change direction with confidence.
Many people allow life to overtake them and ‘go with the flow’. However if the flow is not taking you in the direction you want to go then goal setting can help plan and achieve the future you want. I use a number of techniques including drawing and creative imagery. The results, if you really want it, can totally change your life.
My sessions range from ‘I have no idea what I want to do but I know what I don’t want to do’ to ‘I know what I want to do but don’t know how to get there’. Two hour sessions cover whatever you want them to, from how to find the job for you; CV writing; job search methods and interview skills.
